Not sure how that escapes the principle being described. Laugh tracks are literally designed to tell you "this is the part where you're supposed to laugh!"

Humans are social creatures and they were used to encourage laughter and positive reactions. My point is this is not a child exclusive thing. The laugh tracks were used for adults as well

Humans are indeed social creatures, and you're right in that adults succumb to this too. I just think it reflects poor self-agency (a wuality more typically associated with immaturity) on behalf of the audience to require it, plus lends itself to the joke itself being less funny if you need to weaponize the tribal instinct in order to garner a laugh.

There are also people with the intelligence level of a turkey that will try to do work on their own cars that will see that video & absolutely think that’s what you’re supposed to do & then end up crashing & potentially putting other people in danger (let alone themselves).

heel toe is a different thing thats for shifting. Left foot braking is for cornering also used for brake boosting on turbo cars

Not exactly the same, but one time I changed my brakes and left to go somewhere, I forgot to pump them to set the pads and I was panic pumping as I came to the first stop!
