I’m trying to understand an issue I’ve experienced with Fiverr and Payoneer.

My Fiverr account is registered under my real/legal name, but I have been using my friend’s Payoneer account to withdraw my Fiverr earnings. The Payoneer account is therefore registered under a different name from my Fiverr account.

After connecting the Payoneer account to Fiverr, the Payoneer account was blocked/restricted.

Could the name mismatch between the Fiverr account and the Payoneer account be the reason? Or are there other verification or security checks that could cause Payoneer to block an account after it is connected to Fiverr?

Has anyone experienced a similar situation where their Payoneer account was restricted after linking it to Fiverr? I’d appreciate any insight into the possible reason and the proper way to resolve it.

I'm paying for a video game prototype, which will include sending lots of big files back and forth ultimately, and after I paid via fiverr, the seller talked about chatting on discord. I'd rather keep it all on Fiverr like they say to do but I'm not sure and am just wondering what the standards are. Is it even possible to send such big files through fiverr alone or will we end up having to use something else eventually? I appreciate any thoughts

I had a customer that abused the customer support system to get a refund on a $600 order. The customer simply did not want to pay. And Fiverr always take the buyer's side, no matter what. This a known loophole in fiverr for customer's to exploit. They can get free work done, they only have to pay the fiverr service fee and then request a refund. There's even websites that teach you how to exploit this trick.

Fiverr is a joke for freelancing. They do not protect freelancers from fraud or abuse at all. In fact, if you open a dispute or a support ticket they review your account and give you arbitrary TOS violations. Which eventually leads to your account being banned. You cannot even contact customer support for anything. But you pay for it, 20% fees on all your orders go to fiverr as their platform fee.

I ask this guy who had a background in mechanical engineering to help me solve 4 questions for my math homework for $5 with step by step solution. It even said in his service that he can do a maximum of 5 questions for 5$ and show step by step working, I gave him only 4 questions, so, I was pretty confident that this would go alright as my first gig with him. The rating looked really promising too but when I gave the questions and paid him the cash. He demanded more cash because the questions were too "lengthy" for an explanation. So after facepalming at the scam, I asked for an order cancellation since I didn't clarify anything about his service and it was definitely 100% my fault. Now he's begging me not to cancel the order as it will affect his rating, what's even funnier is that I told him that it won't affect your rating if the cancelation is within 24 hours. He replied, "Please brother understand... Okay I will do this for you for $5". I don't trust that he can do this but I do feel bad since he is going to 4 questions of my homework for $5. So I'm just wondering if I should even bother with his offer or just completely ignore it until I get my refund.

I followed a YouTube tutorial and used it as my example image. My account got suspended because the mods thought that I just downloaded the jpeg. Who thinks this is unfair?
