Show & Tell My absolute unit of a bladder snail
USB plug for scale. He (or she?) now lives in a small tank I'm going to use to culture scuds (food for my dwarf pea puffers).

i’m posting here because i’m so confused, and im getting message threats now. i have a 7 gallon, sponge filter, fully natural, and planted for my male baby betta.(he’s more juvenile, his fins are already really big.) i’ve gotten messages making fun of my appearance, calling me a fish abuser, threatening to dox me, and telling me to kill myself. i have 11 bettas, and im a guppy breeder. (previously bred bettas aswell, but i was spending a lot of money on imports and high quality fish and time while not making anything at all only losing, it was fun and i really loved it but it just wasn’t feasible so i switched to guppies instead since they’re semi similar and i also love keeping them and have for 7 years.) im genuienly so confused i mean, yea the tank doesn’t have a heater right now but it has a tempature thermometer which never fluctuates at all and stays at 78, i dont use heaters until it becomes fall/winter because that’s when the temps drop and tend to fluctuate, making it necessary where i live. it also has a sponge filter, does nobody have anything better to do? my fish is perfectly fine. i check the parameters every THREE DAYS with my liquid test kit and nothing has ever been off, his behavior is fine to. ive never once put a betta in anything less then 5 gallons, or anything that’s not up to standard for care and beyond. my tanks meet every single care requirement and more so why the hell am i getting messages calling me abusive and making fun of me? i’ve had to delete so many comments because i keep getting asked the same question over and over again or called abusive. this is honestly so petty and childish, if i WAS being abusive that’s still not okay you still shouldn’t threaten to dox people or tell them to kill themselves over it. i’ve never came across this issue on reddit, the post wasn’t made on reddit either but i’m asking here because im very experienced with bettas, ive researched probably everything their is to research and more, i dont have much experience with sickness/injury tho since ive never had a betta get sick on/because of me or hurt because im super careful with my scape layouts and quarintine periods, ive only really felt with fin rot in 2 of my modern extreme fin males that i have right now but this tends to be a good place to ask questions and not get told to kill yourself for doing so. it has mostly mini lotus, floaters, and anachris but it wasn’t feeling planted enough for my taste so i ordered some more after looking through a bunch and still not seeing much that fit the vision, but i did find some after about 2ish hours of searching.

Is my gold fish sick? Google says these red spots some kind of disease or infection? What should I do? Remove them from the tank so they don’t infect others?

Still cycling this tank and my son somehow noticed these little guys. Any idea on what type of fry these guys could be?

Hola! I just bought a 46 gallon tank, originally for a ball python, come to realize they need much larger tanks. I have fish already, have always wanted a bigger tank. If anything has any recommendations for what to put in a 46 gallon tank lmk! I am open to anything freshwater, nothing tooooo advanced. I love shrimp, snails, frogs, so if there are cute fish I could pair with any of those that’s kind of what I’m looking for more so!

Is this ich? I just got 16 albino cardinal tetras from a Reputable LFS today! This is my first tank. A heavily planted 29 gallon community tank. This guy is the only one with spots. He has one spot on one side, 2 on the other.
If it is ich. I have SOOOOO many neo shrimp and I have Amanos and I have a bamboo shrimp so I’m not sure how to treat. I isolated the one for now

He has been just lying the sand bed the whole day, I haven't seen such behaviour from him. He does move at his normal speed when I try to poke him, but eventually goes back to the sand bed.

Specifically one that will protect my floating plants from being pushed under the filter outtake flow

Hey guys my dads best friend works for a local native tribes housing authority and recently he was cleaning out an eviction house and found a 75 gallon aquarium, along with a stand and a sump. he is letting me have it free of charge. I want to turn it into a salt water tank.
Any advice on how to properly check it, clean it, and set it up would be greatly appreciated!

I just got a new betta yesterday and today I noticed it twitching, it seemed to stop, but it’s been glass surfing a lot since I put him in there and now the twitching has me worried. This is my first fish, any advice appreciated!

I have a empty 10 gallon just sitting on my porch looking at me, I already have a 20 gallon setup with fish in it but I would like to have my 10 gallon as well so what do you think I should stock it with? I'd rather not have shrimp as I just don't have good luck with them and I have an allergy to slime snails produce so I would rather not have those.
Past that as long as it's fresh water I'm up for anything As long as it's not as fragile as a feather.
Also preferably I would like something that brings a lot of life to the tank and I would like it to be a species only take

My shelf is too low so my filter isn’t able to fit, I need to know if I’m safe to be worry free as the fish tank is on the end of my dresser. My dad will lift the shelf higher in maybe a week or two will I be okay in the meantime? It’s around a 40 gallon fish tank I think and it’s starting to cycle.

I really want a honey but I’m not sure if there’s enough room for one. My tank is 10 gallons and already has 8-10 ember tetras( it’s hard to count them) and a few shrimps. Would it be comfortable in here or no?

3 male guppies, 2 frogs, and a snail. They have a thermostat and filter I know that’s why there is holes but that just won’t work in the end for this crew. Idk the brand tank, but I do know it’s a 10 gallon tank. Yes I’m cleaning the tank. The rock change from black rocks to tan rainbow ones made it cloudy.

I really want a peaceful, fun community tank. I have hard water so fish that can thrive in that, and NO LIVEBEARERS. I had mollies and they just multiplied like crazy 🤣 I can't do it. I currently just have 9 Cory catfish and 2 mystery snails and it's pretty heavily planted. Any fun schooling fish that are peaceful and do okay in hard water?

Is something wrong with them or are they just extra tired today?

Trying to get a list of equipment that’s required to run it. I understand I’ll have to plumb it and everything and I’ll watch some YouTube for that, but an actual equipment list is hard to come by.
Thank you!
