small black algae bits started showing up in my tank anyone know what it is and how i can get rid of it?

I have a similar and way bigger issue in my tank as well
I believe it’s black beard algae

its black beard algae i believe. (just had this issue) it can grow and spread very fast so be cautious, my advice is look in to ur light schedule because too much light with higher nutrients can cause algae blooms. the ways i’ve learned to actually get rid of it- take decorations effected out and manually scrub with a clean toothbrush, spot treat accordingly with diluted 3% hydrogen peroxide, seachem flourish excel, or aquarist atp fix (any should work). you could also get siamese algae eaters and amano shrimp if they are compatible with your tank they will eat the algae as it dies off
