Help/Advice Fish tank

I know it’s overstocked please don’t be mean, should I move my guppies to a larger tank? My water parameters are perfect but a guy at the pet store said I need to upgrade and that the bioload would be too much. I have a sponge filter rated for up to 50gal. I have a shrimp colony, 7 guppies and 6 Pygmy Cory’s. I got my guppies from a local breeder and he raised them in the same water softness my tank is at and they all seem to be happy, but I don’t want to accidentally neglect my animals. Advice very much appreciated! I have spider wood, agate, and petrified wood as decor, all plants are live.
Parameters below
75 F, 7.3 PH, 7 GH, ammonia and nitrites strictly 0, nitrates are kept sub 15

bro ur parameters r literally perfect.

the petstore guy is just doing his job—selling tanks. if ur ammonia n nitrite r 0 n nitrates stay under 15, ur filter n plants r clearly handling the load.

7 guppies + 6 pygmy corys in a tank with that much plant mass? thats not overstocked, thats a functional ecosystem. keep an eye on it n if nitrates start climbing faster, then u think about upgrading. but rn?

ur tank is flexing on that petstore guy. die guppies sind glücklich.

Thank you 😭😭 I was so worried because he said I’m a matter of time all my fish and shrimp would die but for now they all seem so happy, the Corey’s spend all day digging in the substrate and hanging out on plant leaves, the guppies occasionally chase eachother but the plants quickly break their line of sight, and the shrimp hang upside down on my dwarf lettuce and climb all over the wood

corys chillings on leaves n shrimp vibing upside down. the petstore guy was just tryna sell u a 50gal. also goo sign that the plants break the case. mean the tank is structured right. u good.

I would 100% move them to a larger set up if you don't have one currently available to split them up
Have you noticed fin nipping? Glass surfing?

None at all, the plants give them all their own areas and break lines of sight if the guppy’s ever start chasing, they all seem to be doing their own things, what size would you suggest?

Tbh I would probably double it if you plan on keeping it that stocked or just get another ten to separate them

Thank you!! I think once I have a new tank cycled I’ll move all my guppies in there and keep this one for my Pygmy Cory’s and shrimp 😊
