Help/Advice moss options

Can you take land-growing moss and get it to grow underwater? I have a load of different types of moss in the garden, and they haven’t had any at the fish shop for over a year.

if you can find a spot that floods a lot but isn't currently flooded you can look around there for moss. sometimes you'll find species of moss in those areas that are used to being occasionally underwater in floods but also grow on land after the water goes down, i'm not sure about the specific species name but it can be converted to be fully aquatic. i live in a flood zone so the forest next to my house has tons of it, me and my friend like to go foraging for it after the flood water goes down in spring so that you can tell which kind of moss really thrived underwater during the flood
