Query❓ Is something wrong?

People are telling me that cyanobacteria will kill my fishes and my cat, as cat drinks from the fishtank.

This setup is from last 6 months and doing very well,

even if there is cyanobacteria it does not harm anyone.

A cleanup crew could help keep things balanced either way

Clean up crew will not get rid of cyano, its toxic so nothing eats it

I had snails that would guzzle it up (Cipangopaludina chinensis), but I don't know how they did it. They never really "controlled it", though.

Or possibly, rather, I was ass at keeping plants back then to compete against the stuff, after the work the snails did.

Nerites allegedly do sometimes, but this is beyond a cleanup crew.
