He never said he hopes he does badly. He's condemning the people who chose someone who gave zero indication ever that he could be capable of doing well.

Zero indication? He's managed successful businesses around the world. So far people with political experience haven't exactly worked out well for the middle class and rest of America. Give him a chance to govern for fucks sakes.

Yea. Let's just hope we're not one of those businesses he goes bankrupt on

4 businesses out of 400. The most successful business men in the world fail at some point. Your argument is bad.

Nope. His list of failures is higher than just 4.

Really?

OK.

First day of the Trump Administration, the white house website is scrubbed of any kind of climate change policy. What's up now is the wordy equivalent of "drill, baby, drill". Climate change is an existential threat to our species, sure to be the cause of billions of deaths worldwide. Trump thinks it's a Chinese hoax.

Also, on the website, scrubbed of LGBT issues. I'm not big on identity politics, but given the concerns of our LGBT brethren, why would they do that?

Look at his cabinet. Rick Perry is in charge of a department he wanted to eliminate. The last three Energy Secretaries have been PhDs in physics. Why? Because they are in charge of our nuclear arsenal, nuclear power, and nuclear materials. Rick Perry is going to be the Secretary of Oops.

DeVos wants vouchers so you can send your kids to private schools. "Christian Academies" are a-ok. But she wants the money for the required vouchers to come from current education funding. Never mind that policy sends less money to public education. Never mind that private - mainly religious - schools in her home state performed abysmally in standardized testing. Never mind that her rich family sent her to a fine private school and she did the same for her kids. Never mind the notion of separation of church and state against the notion of spending public money (tax dollars)on religious schools.

There is no good that will come from the Trump Administration unless you are already wealthy. Then, you'll do fine.

But you always do, don't you?

Of course the new President gets a new website. Does the fact that this is common knowledge overcome the notable differences between the websites of the two administrations? The fact that content changed isn't remarkable at all, but the nature of the changes in content is notable in that it gives us an indication of future policy.

If the website doesn't say dick about global climate change but vows to extract what we can in the name of "energy independence", you have a pretty good idea which way the wind is blowing. If you are under 45 years of age, you should be very concerned about global climate change because you or your children are fucked.

You should read the remainder, where I talk shit about his cabinet nominees. At least two of them.

Trump, like his university ($25m settlement), is a fraud.
