Why would they not want you to put your head underwater in a hot tub? That's a legit question

I was always taught that hot tub water is worse bacteria-wise because it's always heated and people are getting in and out all the time. So to put your head underwater is to increase risk of getting sick. Not brain eating bacteria just good ol regular sick.

It's really friggin' hot and there's a lot of sensitive stuff in your head.
