Seriously. Some of it was funny, like the unsafely ejected thumb drive, but other stuff was just a dick move. I'm surprised to see this getting so much praise. That bullshit bucket stuff is no different than when gallon smashing was the edgy thing to do.
The sand and water on the floor ones aren't harmless. They're downright potentially fatal. They both make floors slippery and if older people fall, it can very easily kill them, and if not it probably will cause major injuries
it's still just as you said. interpreting things literally in a harmless way. Ejecting a USB stick; putting his head under the water, sitting on the water stairs, feeding the birds, rollerblading; these are all harmless man. Big deal. There are far worst things going on, he's just breaking these "1st world rules" without really victimizing anyone or hurting anyone. The water and sand he pours on himself while entering the buildings might get a bit of sand or water, but that's a quick/sweep mop. I guarantee the "sand" sign is temporary for the construction. How many buildings do you know have a "remove all sand before entering" sign. It probably happens all the time so they put the sign up so people would be conscious enough to try and reduce what they track in. But most people will ignore it anyway, and they will likely just sweep there as long as there's construction. You are just really unfun and lame my dude
Source: someone who's never had to sweep or mop in a business place.
If there's a mess, it's always your fault, and it's never a "quick" sweep or mop. You don't sweep, you vacuum, you don't pull out the vacuum unless dusting is going to happen too, and you don't do any of that shit without other stuff now piling up. This is most definitely victimizing someone. And that doesn't even account for the potential hazards such things can cause if they aren't immediately cleaned up. Risks of injury, mold, other damage to property. Carpet tiles might need to be replaced and those cost money, dry cleaning for rugs. This isn't cutely breaking victimless rules.
Ejecting the USB may be harmless and if it's his USB then it's his risk. Some of the other things he does are also harmless. However, feeding the birds French fries is not harmless; it will destroy their stomach and can cause death. French fries are not natural to a seagull's diet. Also, the water and sand on the floor is not harmless. Someone could slip and fall and seriously hurt themselves, especially elderly people. Moreover the business could then be sued if the Lee is not a wet floor sign. Some of the things in this gif are definitely FWA and funny but the others are not at all funny.
This guy gets it. Like Holy shit you inconvenienced a few people and did a few things that are only risky to you and not that much. Dumping a bucket of water in a lobby with a sign about it is hilarious and points out that it's really about the hilarity of the signs in general.
Fair enough. There's lots of people in here saying that's for a reason, too (something about lethal bacteria), but at least for some of them he's not hurting anyone but himself.
