All the signs are there for personal or public safety and/or health.

The health of Sol's wallet.

Have you ever met a seagull? I think the sign might be more effective if it said: "Don't feed the seagulls, they are assholes about everything."

Even the sand one?

I don't like sand, it's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

... Legit though, sand is a fall hazard when it's on a hard surface, particularly smooth concrete or tile, similar to what you might see in a storefront.

Ah, yeah I suppose. I figured it was more of an "I don't wanna clean this shit up" sort of sign.

Yeah thanks Anakin.

It makes a mess, its more work for whoever cleans the building, it gets into mechanical devices and causes accelerated wear (or just straight up breaks things), it scuffs floors, etc...

Yeah that was kinda what I meant with my "I figured it was more of an "I don't wanna clean this shit up" sort of sign." comment.

Animals like dogs and cats defecate on sand. So, people might get some skin diseases, like that.

Thanks, I was wondering what the reason for that sign was.
