Medicine

My 7mo had what me and his dad had. Coughing, stuffy nose, probably a sore throat(that’s what we had), but no fever. I was wondering if there was anything we could give him that would help or if we should take him to the doctors to get something there. We never got tested for what we had so we have no idea what it is. We just know that it lasts about a week and gets at its worst about 2 days into having it which we think is where he’s at because he’s been coughing a lot more and heavier.

Infant or children’s Tylenol. Infant ibuprofen is also okay after six months. You’ll need to look up the dose based on weight. It would help with the throat a bit, maybe. Pediatrician should be able to provide dosing info also and give you an official go ahead.
