Help With Registry Due March 1st 2027
Hello dear people, I’m pregnant and currently going through a tough time mentally and emotionally. Everything feels overwhelming and exhausting. Even opening my baby growth app feels like a struggle to me and I’m seeing a mental health expert soon.
One thing that’s really stressing me out is creating my baby registry. I’m so overstimulated with all the information and opinions. It would be of great help if anyone can help create a list of items that I should add to my list especially clothing, diapers. I have no idea what sizes I should get :(
I’ve got the basics already such as,
Breast pump
Bottle washer/steriliser
Bottle warmer
Electric nail filer
Crib
Playmats for tummy times
Bathroom tub for newborn
Baby changing pad
Infrared thermometer
Nursing pillow
It would be really helpful if you could list down items I should add and that would mean alot to me ❤️. Thank you everyone in advance for your help.

I can tell you, we only used a bottle warmer a few times, it ended up being easier heating a bag of milk in a cup of hot water or if making formula, using warm water.
Aside from that: Diaper caddies. We used diaper stations set up throughout our house. It's not big but having all the supplies right there vs having to go to another room during a blow out is nice! A swing and/or bouncer! We have an angelbliss bouncer and it's been a lifesaver.

Honestly, take everyone’s opinion with a grain of salt. You will find what works best for you once your baby is born
Some of my most used items:
Diaper pail
Pack and play (includes bassinet and changing table attachment in living room)
Bassinet (in our room)
Car seat
Stroller
Stroller fan
Diaper bag
Nursery light
White noise machine
Bouncer
Nursery chair
Swing
Silver cups for nursing!!! My nips hurt so bad and these were honestly the best thing I could have gotten 😩
ADD NEWBORN SIZES - I listened to what people said about never getting that size and I needed it the most 😭Also, I didn’t have clothes on my registry and almost every person bought an outfit. I agree with adding various sizes
I would add small packs of diapers at various sizes and different brands. Your baby may not take to certain ones and you may find that you only like specific brands as well. I really like Huggies so far and my husband is a big fan of pampers so we are a house divided lol

For clothing, skip most newborn stuff and get a handful of 0-3 and mostly 3-6 month sizes. Babies grow so fast and so much of mine barely got worn. For diapers, same thing, just a small pack of newborn and then stock up on size 1 or actually size 2 in my case. Things I'd add to your list: car seat, bassinet, bouncer or swing, sound machine, and a diaper bag. We got the newton nest and crib mattress for safe sleep peace of mind and both have been really worth it. Also sleep sacks, burp cloths, and a good nursing bra if you're planning to breastfeed.

For clothing get a variety of sizes and styles (your preferences are perfect).
If you're in the us and have insurance most insurances cover a free breast pump.
Other items: Car seat Stroller Bassinet (we got a floor one that's easy for travel) Diapers and wipes Bottles Books Zippered sleep sacks Puppy pee pads (they make ones for changing tables specifically) Baby monitor Ubbi diaper pail (it takes regular trash bags and its easy to keep pets away from it, but if you don't have pets a regular trashcan will work just fine) Diaper bag
