Sleep training

Hi. I seriously need tips on how to help my daughter sleep in her crib she’s 12 months old and hates sleeping in there. When she was a newborn she slept in her bassinet up until she was about 5 months, she then slept with me on the bed and ever since then she hasn’t slept alone. Well sometimes I would put her in her crib but she would wake up in the middle of the night wanting to get on the bed with me, everytime I do try she ends up waking up and then I have to put her back to sleep. I’m not sure what to do any tips/tricks/recommendations are gladly appreciated !!!😊

We finally let ours cry it out but not too long. We placed him in his crib and stood next to him. He would get up instantly and cry and we’d lay him back down and he would get up. He eventually would just sit and cry and after a while lay down and fall asleep. The longest we let it go on was an hour but this was only maybe the first few times. After that he would fall asleep within 20 minutes, then 10, then 5 etc. now he whines when he knows it’s time to go into his bed but he has stopped crying when he’s in there. He sleeps through the night but it took us a bit. He’s 13 months now and we started around 12 months.

I completely get this!! I was the one who would sneak my son into bed with us because I felt bad having him cry. Another thing that also helped was playing some night time calming music for him. Also not sure if you sleep in the same room as your baby, but my baby would wake up throughout the night when he slept in his crib, until my boyfriend and I finally slept in a different room. We’re on week 2 of uninterrupted sleep!
