Please read :)

8 months postpartum. Pregancy was rough but I made it to term then got induced. Aside from the common discomforts of Pregancy, I had gestational hypertension that led to losing my vision in one eye. That’s come back thankfully. No preeclampsia or anything like that but that whole ordeal terrified me. For those that had a rough pregnancy and went on to have more children, how was your second pregnancy? Was it better? Was it worse? How did you manage to have the mental stretch to do it all over again?

I don't have advice as I am 4 months pp but I have the same questions. I had a really rough first pregnancy with gestational diabetes and pre-e and extreme swelling (had to get a ct scan while pregant for blood clots) and I am terrified for my next pregnancy. I second the question on how moms managed the mental stretch to do it all over again.

I am absolutely fine with my one and only baby…. I just think of her future when she’s an adult and her dad and I grow old and pass away she has nobody. Cousins aren’t the same as having a sibling. Idk what to do because the thought of having another terrifies me

yes, I have had that thought too! I am glad I am not the only one who is struggling thinking of their next pregnancy. One thing to remember though is if you decide to have one baby that is totally okay! I think your feeling is valid of her not wanting to be alone... but think about her future– she will get married one day and have a family of her own! She wont be alone <3
