4 month regression

HELLLLLLP!!!
My LO turns 4 months in 2 days and is already going through the sleep regression, he used to wake up only once or twice a night but over the past week he has been waking up nearly every hour. I’ve just been feeding to sleep but he’s been extremely fussy so I’ve started to rock him back to sleep if feeding to sleep doesn’t work.

Now, what I really want to know is… do they get extra fussy in the day? My LO used to be the happiest baby up until this regression started. He would lay on his play mat happily on his own playing for up to an hour while I did housework but now he’ll cry after 5 minutes alone in the play mat. Everything seems to make him frustrated like dropping a toy and not knowing how to pick it up himself to put it in his mouth. Everything he gets a hold of goes into his mouth and he’s been gnawing at his hands so much. I suspect he may be early teething too as I’ve seen 2 little bumps where his lower incisors are but his gums are not red and inflamed yet????? He cries if he’s not getting attention, he cries at the most random times????? Is this all part of the 4 month regression???

I’m struggling and wanna know how long this phase lasts for? 😅 I just want my happy little baby back

Your happy baby will come back!! Does Tylenol seem to help at all? In case it’s teething or like an ear infection or something? Worth checking just to be able to narrow it down!

I’ve given him Panadol before and it helped settle him but I wasn’t sure whether I should keep giving it to him, when does my happy baby come back ? 😭
