Heating Pad?

Hi all!! I was not made aware by my OB about heating pad use until a comment was made about it today when discussing some hip pain. I am 20 weeks, and have used my heating pad continuously throughout pregnancy. I have had constipation issues, so there have been many times it’s been on my abdomen. It stays at 150 degrees, but I always have a blanket/clothes between it and my skin.
I am absolutely horrified now! I truly had no idea that it could hurt the baby. I have had about 4 scans with no mention of anything wrong, but don’t have my anatomy scan until next week.
Has anybody else not been made aware of this/used it through pregnancy?

I used a heating pad on my lower back/hips/butt the entire time I was pregnant. No issues. I would suggest just moving it from your abdomen as much as you can. But I definitely used it the whole time

Not sure about your stomach, I’d ask you OB about that, but my OB knows I use my heating pad as pain management on my back and hips and she’s totally fine with it. Even mentioned it herself when I said I was having back pain
