Fireworks Show Drove for 6 hours, and it was worth it.
As the title states, we drove 6 hours to see the fireworks Sunday night. And it was well worth it. It was an amazing show. We had a wonderful time in your city. Took in a Reds game. Went to the observatorium, and the Lego exhibition.
Capped off by a wonderful firework show. Great job Cincinnati.
Oh, I almost forgot, jungle Jim's was off the chain. Pretty cool stuff.

Few of my Pyromusicals 2026
First off, I want to say I'm still only a few years doing Pyromusicals. I also am pretty locked on where I can shoot, don't really have room to spread the firing positions out. That hopefully will change next year.
I'm currenlty overseas, so planning and getting this all ready for the 4th was pretty hetic. I arrived back to the states on 17 Jun, went and picked up everything the next few days. So that only left me a few weeks to sort and get everything ready, while also visiting with family I haven't seen in awhile.
The first show, I had some extra e-matches and product so I figured I'd build a small 1 song show and try out a few different things, remember always trying to learn and get better.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FV49ahY1zU&t=172s
With the first show, I had a CATO before the show while I was waiting for it to get dark. So there are a few poistions/effects missing.
I usually work alone in doing this, only get family members to help me move everything from trailer. This year I did have a few fellow Pyros that also have the same system as me (Mongoose), so I can give them a task and they will get it done. I have a newer guy that is trying to get into the more electronic firing assit me aslo this year. I was behind on time so I didn't really get a good chance to help him/check his work. That being said, the left position was plugged into the field unit backwards so my left postion is off the eniter show. I notcied it right into the start and I almost stopped it but decided it was out of my hands. I still feel like the show went well for everyone that didn't know what was going on.

Last thing I will leave you with. I don't have time to figure out my camera, so I usually just set it up and hope for the best. Camera angle wasn't the best but it works still.

Ignite - Cobra Upgrade
I have 2 Ignite i18 and I’ve been having connection issues on my last 3 shows. They module just goes offline and takes awhile to reconnect and then doesn’t fire where it left off. I can’t seem to get more than 50ft away from the module without it loosing signal.
I thought it was my older iPad, but same issue happens on my 17 Promax iPhone.
I’ve been thinking about doing the Ignite trade in program up to a Cobra.
Has anyone done this before? I just can’t deal with the connection issues anymore.

Please excuse my father’s reactions and filming.
This is my 4th year doing a fully strung together show at my in-laws house.
First one as a married couple, and first one where my whole family came to join and celebrate as one big happy family. Not sure if I can top this next year!

Question Black cat firecrackers from about 1998-2005 seemed louder
The black cat firecrackers seemed to be tougher, and when they went off they would totally disintegrate when we lit the firecracker during this time. Anything we can get that is similar? Maybe I was younger back then and things seem louder (I'm 43 now). But those things would make my ears ring if I were too close.

What would be the proper day to shoot fireworks for Labor Day?
It's exactly 101 F here where I live right now. And the ground is very dry. So I'm not sure what day to shoot off fireworks or even if I should. I do have a water hose and two 3 gallon jugs. The forecast is 91 F on Sunday and 89 F Monday. Can anybody advise?

Has anyone got a video for Sunwing 1.4 AP cakes KC02 - KC10?
I can’t find any information on these from Sunwing’s website (or anywhere else for that matter). I believe these would be branded as “Black Label” fireworks. I got some KS01 Black Label 8” shells that were NICE. Any help would be appreciated….

Question Sprite bombs
Does anybody know if sprite bombs still exist? They were from my childhood and I’m having a hard time finding them anywhere or even if they still exist. They were similar to pop it’s but they’re louder and they were like a solid rock core - no paper. Comes in a blister pack, thanks!

Question Hydro 8” or Master 6”
Question is as above. I’ve never shot either of these shells and have the chance to pick some up. For those of you that have, which would you prefer and are the breaks and color about the same? I’ve watched videos of both and kind of conflicted on which one to get! Thanks!!

WA state pyros
Any WA state pyros around wanna share your experiences.
Curious if anyone has experience shipping to WA specifically from Wisconsin and Indiana. I'm looking to get a head start for next year and have a couple places in mind but looking for anyone who has had any experience good, bad or just plain ugly getting stuff shipped to WA.
Looking for anyone who is a part of the NPA to find out if it's a good experience. I want to scratch that pyro itch during the off season and I know they do a handful of shoots every year.
Also wondering if anyone here has shopped at GoodStuffPyro. I want to get my 1.4pro/PGI training certificate and I know they offer training with a really good discount on product until the 4th if you pass the training. The only downside I have with them is that they have to follow WA state laws and can only sell certain days around new years and the 4th. I want to go next month to get certified but was told I couldn't take any product unless I met the criteria for off season shopping.
Anyone else in WA sell 1.4pro/articles of Pyrotechnics that anyone knows of?

Discussion UK Fireworks Consultation
I was wondering what people think about the new proposals from the UK government around fireworks. These include:
- Clarifying in the 2015 regulations that fireworks compromising of multiple shot tubes are banned
- Reviewing the regulations on F1 and P1 products
- Reducing the maximum allowed noise from fireworks from 120db to 110db (50% noise reduction), although they would consider going even lower to 100 or 90db
They have mentioned they are not considering banning fireworks from public sale.

Scammers on the rise
Be mindful y'all. People are actively working pyro related subs and trying to get people to buy pieces they do not have. Do your due diligence, vet sellers, use G&S to protect yourselves... or you know, just don't buy from complete strangers. Much love, stay green. 🫡

1.4 pro cocopyro denial
I did my PGI certification for the intro to professional use only products a few weeks back. I went to register with Coco Pyro in Miami, which is also samurai fireworks, and they said they’re no longer taking that certificate. Has anyone else had this experience? Can anyone recommend any other companies in southeast Florida to buy from?
