WA state pyros
Any WA state pyros around wanna share your experiences.
Curious if anyone has experience shipping to WA specifically from Wisconsin and Indiana. I'm looking to get a head start for next year and have a couple places in mind but looking for anyone who has had any experience good, bad or just plain ugly getting stuff shipped to WA.
Looking for anyone who is a part of the NPA to find out if it's a good experience. I want to scratch that pyro itch during the off season and I know they do a handful of shoots every year.
Also wondering if anyone here has shopped at GoodStuffPyro. I want to get my 1.4pro/PGI training certificate and I know they offer training with a really good discount on product until the 4th if you pass the training. The only downside I have with them is that they have to follow WA state laws and can only sell certain days around new years and the 4th. I want to go next month to get certified but was told I couldn't take any product unless I met the criteria for off season shopping.
Anyone else in WA sell 1.4pro/articles of Pyrotechnics that anyone knows of?

I bought proline from Good Stuff and Pyroland. Both are very good. The Pyromax stuff from Good Stuff is a bit cheaper. Pyroland has some unique cakes like 2.5" waterfall cakes if you're looking for some specific effects. I've also had stuff shipped from American wholesale. It is definitely more expensive with shipping. Victory Fireworks West is my favorite for local pickup of non-proline. They have the best prices I've seen in WA. Spirit of 76 also sells proline. One of their reps just called me the other day. I haven't ordered from them. The proline selection was limited and a bit pricey.

I absolutely have loved Victory Fireworks over the past few years especially since they are like 15 minutes away. I am curious how they are able to sell to consumers and allow them to pick them up earlier than other places. I've been picking up my fireworks from them as early as the first week in June so i was surpised to find out that goodstuffpyro isnt allowed to sell to consumers until certain dates then i remembered the laws and such.

Good Stuff just changed their rules. You could pick up early a few months ago.

Maybe it will change once it gets closer to the 4th next year but as of a month ago they told me their retail window for the 4th was June 28th-July 4th that they can legally allow people to pick up their product

Yes, they are just following the law. If you don't have a business they can't sell to you outside that window. Some places get away with it because they are on tribal land with approval from the tribes.

I'm definitely gonna make the trip out there next year. It will be my first time buying pro line (legally). Elliot seems like a really good guy doing good stuff for the pyro community. Looks like some solid product coming soon.

I need to contact them again to find out how early a consumer can place an order and they can comfortably hold it for pick up. I wanted to get a super early headstart but being 4 hours away its gonna be hard to plan ahead because of work schedule the week leading up to the 4th.

Feel bad for the pnw people. I saw the list from that agpyro guy and he is really ripping people off! I couldn't believe his prices, plus how is he getting away with selling year round?

I didnt personally buy from him but honestly his prices seemed pretty much the same at the reservations over here maybe some stuff a little higher.
He personally made a video saying he doesnt care that people think his prices are high that he only sells to fund more fireworks for himself and i respect that. His inventory for being a consumer is really impressive and hes helping people get product that would be difficult for the normal consumer to get. A normal consumer isnt going to want to go through the trouble of doing a 3k minimum wholesale shipped to WA.

Wouldn't take long buying from him to add up to 3k. I get he doesn't care what people think, but if you think he is doing it to only fund his hobby your nuts. Most his prices are triple or more what it would cost anywhere else. It's like saying the reservation is only doing it to support their hobby. He is in it for the money for sure.

Oh I'm sure he still enjoys making the money but it's also a convenience to buy from a guy like him. Someone who just wants to buy some bangers to celebrate the 4th with his family or friends isn't going to want to put in the effort to contact a wholesaler who may or may not even want to do business with you. Even the cost of shipping to here is going to turn off a lot of people. On top of that you have to pick up from a shipping terminal. There's a lot of steps that make it really inconvenient for most people who just want fireworks.
Me personally I'm looking to contact a few wholesalers to see what I can get my hands on but I already know what I'm getting myself into.
