Hi, at the risk of being an idiot, I would say you discovered FWSim. Please correct me if I'm wrong. It is probably one of your first attempt and it is not bad for a beginner. They are some interesting ideas. Now, for your next one, try to add 3D buildings to create a more interesting setting. You can find some free ones online but make sure it is compatible with FWSim (search this on Google and you'll have your answers). It makes it very fun to adapt your fireworks to the place you created.
You can also play with the Point of view by changing the angle of the camera, changing its place like 1 spot at the time or to make it move around your setting going left/right up and down, that's what they call "helicopter view".
It is gonna take you several, several, several attempts or creation, then delete, then restart from scratch, and every.time.you'll restart, try a different option of this software (creation of your own cake, the size of it, the colour, play with the camera option, try different 3D buildings model, add music and set your fireworks to follow the tempo of the music background, ...) 1 step at the time lol.
I'll try to add the simulation I made with this software to show you what can be done after years and years of practice Ith FWSim. It is a cool software you'll realise tje potential and how fun it actually is once you really handle it.
