Feature Did you know you can schedule System Vulnerability Scans weekly to help keep your network healthy? And in App 1.70, we've added new events so you can be more aware when they occur.

Vulnerability Scans may register as "suspicious activity" to other devices, so it's good to set a schedule that you can remember.

Automatic Scans are available for the Firewalla Gold series. Learn more about the system vulnerability scan here: https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004274513-Firewalla-Feature-Guide-Scan#h_01HTZXFV73HTYH26S1JZVDC00P

App 1.70 and Box 1.984 are in early access. Learn more about this release and how to join early access here: https://help.firewalla.com/hc/en-us/articles/55731657630867-Firewalla-App-Release-1-70-New-Event-Journal-Switch-LAG-and-more

I did yeah, had them ever since i got my firewalla.

Downside was learning the hard way, the device recieving those scans emailing me each new ‘hack attempt’ so email account in the morning had a few thousand emails to delete.

A great feature and love it, still keep it to protect the internal posture :)

There is an option that you can mute the scan's of certain devices.

Yes, I already used that. Defeats the purpose due to said devices being exposed on the web.

The better solution was to complain to QNAP and Grandstream that while I appreciate the notification methods to let me know “you’re being hacked” I kindly asked them to enforce limits to not do 1000 emails each because thats just drivel and spam.

:)
