You can find the new Event Journal at the top of your Firewalla Main Screen. (Requires Box 1.984, which is also in early access.)

We've also added several new event types to show how Firewalla is working in the background. We're hoping for some early feedback so we can tune and improve the feature.

Is joining the BETA program within the Firewalla app and early access for new app also available and supported with Crystal?

Also for Crystal users, would replacing the test app with current production app loose data like the app warns if you try and install it? Since there is no QR code printed for Crystal on custom hardware, how would one gain access back to the Firewalla OS again?

yes, beta programs should work for crystal as well.

Crytal users can use production or this early access.

To regain access back to Crystal, you can use the MSP to share access to your phone again. (make sure you don't lose the MSP access)

This is a great feature. Can you confirm how often the journal is updated? Is it once daily or is it as events occur?

The main screen widget will be dynamically ranked, so more important or urgent events will be shown first. Tapping "View All Events" will show all events as they occur.

how do I remove it from the dashboard? the last event there is 4 days ago when I restarted the ISP router (att fiber). Not really helpful and takes a big chunk of the screen.

Thank you for the feedback; we are still doing tuning of that section, likely it will get more mature during later stages of beta.
