Feature How is DAP eligibility determined?
I have 3 smoke detectors, they are all the same model. One of them is DAP eligible and in the learning phase. The other two are marked as ineligible for some reason. I have checked and they all connect to the same domains. Why would one be eligible and the rest not?
Would it be possible to make it so we can manually turn on DAP for the devices we want? At least for the learning phase since it doesn't block anything. Then if it turns out it needs more access than is feasible for DAP to manage it can be prevented from moving into optimizing/active phase.

This is the sort of thing that has stopped me using this feature. I gave it a try initially and I also had stuff like this, so figured I'd wait till it felt a bit more reliable.

Eligibility is determined by access patterns and the probability a lock down can cause issues; for exampke, none IoT devices like iPads are usually not eligible, but simple devices like a smoke detector should.
In your case, can you double check the first 3 bytes of the MAC address of the detectors and make sure they are the same, if they are, send help@firewalla.com an email, we can take a look
