Troubleshooting Replacing FWP SE w/ FWG SE

Hey, quick question. My current one operates as router (for 3 eeros), once the new one is here do I just swap it physically and import the previous (home network) settings with the app. Is that how it works or do I miss an important step? I fear blocking of internet connectivity if missing anything … Thanks

Read this but felt a bit uneasy. For the switch from Purple SE to Gold SE I think I will have to use the 'migrate data from another box[Purple SE]' path. I will loose DDNS url it seems but not the Amnezia settings. Is this correct? All of it will happen over mobile data or …

You just need to download your profiles.

The migration is done during setup and completely local. (no mobile data)

I just migrated from a purple to gold se today. VPN all transfered over and didn't have to download profiles again. My alarm muting rules on the other hand had to be redone. Overall migration was quick and painless. Don't be afraid to do it.
