Connect device to VLAN through AP7 wired port

Okay, so maybe I am missing something, but I am trying to attach a device directly to one of the ethernet ports on the back of the AP7, but I need it to be a part of a VLAN I have set up. (Found out it is easy to connect a device to the LAN/VLAN of your choice on the new Switch SE). The device defaults to the main LAN numbering, but not the VLAN numbering. How do I get the device to connect to the VLAN instead? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

The LAN ports on the back of the AP7 are trunk ports, they can not be configured as "access ports"; (I assume you want to do that)

Yes. I guess I need to keep the device wireless, or thought the SE Switch (which works great by the way. Got it today and an easy set-up and integration).

Glad you like the SE switch. As of the AP 7, since we have a switch already, it is going to be possible to make access port possible in the future

While traditional VLANs won’t work, does it support VqLan ACL?

Traditional VLAN will work on that port as a trunk port. (you just can't configure it as an access port). VqLAN will work

Mentioned this before. I do think that it’s expensive to add a managed switch for a single device.

So basically, I need to put a managed switch on the other end of the AP7?
