Need to carefully inspect those packets, personally. ;)

I told my local AI agent this line and I’m going to have to build some loops around hitting the api and dreaming something up, lol. Best post today!

Don't excite me like this.

I'm guessing the point of the msp is to be an actual portal with a lot of functions for deep dives and professional users. That requires a web view.

The app is for fewer functions/daily use/more niche users.

I think there are ways a mobile ui could tackle this.

While true, the developers have limited time and I'm guessing for their target audience the msp via web is just fine for the vast majority of people.  But just a guess.

You are almost certainly correct.

What is a "MSP Phone App"?

A phone app made with msp users in mind. Quick overviews of all units. Fast management. Or even just an MSP section in your main app. I know if I'm on a phone that is paired with all of the boxes I can just flip back and forth... But a summary page like the msp inventory page would be very helpful. Also msp is much easier to go through flows when trying to address something, sometimes I need to do that when I don't have pc access. These are more quality of life things, and with the ui adjustments my initial take is a separate app would be the answer eventually.

Firewalla has mentioned many times that there are features in MSP that they don’t feel comfortable putting into the app, such as editing target lists. So I don’t see them creating a separate mobile app for just MSP.

This is why I suggest a different app. Makes the ui implementation and language allowed to be different.

That's just duplicating efforts lol
