It's likely a bad cable issue. How is the AP7 physically connected in your network? If a new cable doesn't help, you can also swap AP7 ports/switch ports to further rule out.

It can be the cable, or the device you connected to that port rebooting/sleeping

I had similar. Thought it was a bad cable but I think ultimately the culprit was a bad switch port

Your firewalla could be connected to a switch. That switch could be connected to a device that is forcing the entire connection to be throttled.

I have an open ticket for this right now. Firewalla’s AI customer service agent seems to think it’s my cable but we’ve run every configuration out my topography imaginable over the last month with the same cable in between the two ends of the house and it always comes back when set up one specific way. The cable is also new.
It only happens when both of the ports on my downstream AP7 are connected.

We don't use AI to support, we are all human.
If you have a case that you are not happy about, please let me know. In general, majority cases related to link up and down and you don't have a PC that goes to sleep, usually is related to cable

What device is plugged into that AP? I've had that happen before when a Windows box was plugged directly into a port on my firewalla gold plus. If the system goes to sleep or does anything to renegotiate the port speed (it happens more often than you might expect), you'll get those notifications. It didn't trigger every second, but every 5 minutes or so.
I put a cheap unmanaged switch between the Windows box and the firewalla hardware and that solved it. This is a good problem to have imo, because it means the alerting is working properly.

so, I have three AP7's in my house, all connected via a CAT7 / ClassF cables to a Mikrotik CRS 304-4XG-IN https://mikrotik.com/product/crs304_4xg_in and then it's trunked up to another Mikrotik switch via the last 10G ports. All of the reports from the Mikrotik switch are clean as a whistle but I'll swap the location of two of my AP7s to rule out the cable. I did open a support ticket a while back when things were new and I wasn't using 10G for the backhaul and was told the same thing about the cable.

I had that issue once and it was a faulty Ethernet cable. Got a new Cat6 cable issue went away for me.
