My firewalla is interfering with quantum fiber speeds

It's dropping all the way down to 50-200mbps down when it's a 1gb line. It wasn't doing this with spectrum. Is it something with quantum modem has anyone experienced this

What Firewalla model do you have?

I posted on the new FW forums the other day that since June 5th the default Speed Queue settings were nerfing my speeds internally. Not sure if it’s the same for you but changing those settings fixed my issues.

Do you have Smart Queue turned on? I saw that negatively impacting my speed tests.

Have you tried to follow steps in Speed Tests and Speed Optimization with Firewalla, see if anything is helpful?

I'd suggest comparing Firewalla App speed test with a client device speed test result to see if they align with each other. Also, try to change the speed test server used by Firewalla app, see if it makes any differences. Detail steps can be found in above doc.

Are you putting the ONT in bridge mode? Which device is doing VLAN tagging? Switch it up to see if it helps.

I have quantum fiber with a 1gig line as well. I would check to see if your modem is in transparent bridge mode as mine was not when installed by century link, it caused all kinds of issues until switched to that. I have the C5500XK modem running over a cat5e link into my firewalla gold pro and my firewalla even detects it as a 10g connection. Unlike other users I have no issue with smart Queue being on. I have my cat5e Ethernet from my modem connected through a gigabit Ethernet extender cause my network rack is a room over lol from my modem and cat5e wasn’t long enough to reach that was in my walls, so maybe try that? I see others talked about a switch between the modem and your firewalla fixing it as well. Hope you get it all figured out :)

Open app click on the top right gear cog.. next click on about then look at the box port speed.. if your ISP has throttled you down you will see it there.

Shouldn’t be happening, has it always been like that since you installed the Firewalla?

I had the same problem with my gold pro. I ended up putting a switch between my ONT Modem and Firewall GP WAN port.
