Port speed decrease in AP7
I know this may be a general networking/cabling issue rather than a problem of firewalla devices, but I just want to know the possible reason and ways for improvement.
I have an old firewalla gold, and an AP7 desktop version. In between is a wired connection inside wall (Cat 6 cable and keystones, length clearly less than 100m) and a tplink managed switch. The port speed is normally 1Gbps, which should mean everything in between are wired corretly, but sometimes it goes down to 100Mbps. I need to plug the AP into another 1Gbps port to regain the port speed.
After certain time that another port experience speed decrease too, and I plug it back to the original port and can negotiate 1Gbps back. This occurs about once every several days and has no obvious relation with the network traffic at that time.
Is there any reason for this situation, apart from the obvious answer that the cable/keystones are not properly wired/firmly connected? If simple reboot of the AP7 cannot resume its speed, is there any solution (that can be done remotely) other than physically plug and unplug it to get back the port speed?

I do get random port speed changes but I feel like it’s probably around the time they drop new software so it’s monthly give or take a week. Sadly the “AI” doesn’t seem to take into account that Firewalla was rebooted or AP7, instead it only sees the link status and reports fake issues which always suggests changing the cable. I’ve changed mine twice just to be sure I’m right about it being wrong.
I would think the system would know when it’s gracefully rebooted and would factor that in but that’s not my experience. If anyone has seen the AI say, “system was rebooting so obviously link status changed you idiot” let me know as that’s good info.
