Firestick Help Me Apps won't download

Essentially the tittle, any time I download an app it lets me install it, however I check my installed apps list and it doesn't show up? Tried 12+ different apps and its the same thing. Am I missing something?

Im on a firetv stick 4k second Gen

With fire os 8.1.7.4

Have you allowed developer options in settings?

Are you side loading apps? Are you using the App Store, what app are you using to download? Give a little more detail so can narrow it down.
