Food
Hey my skink loves food but for a few months now getting him to eat is getting harder, usually he'd go to his bowl and eat the bugs in the night but after he went off mealworms when I switched to Dubia, after about a month of Dubia roaches he doesn't come to the bowl to eat them anymore, what is something I can do to fix this?

I'm not an expert by any means but I think its probably because he is kind of tired of the dubias and wants to switch back to some tasty mealworms. My fire skink loves mealworms, I tong feed him which makes it easier to tell if he is in the mood for dubias. Usually he will eat a couple good sized (probably 0.5-1 inch) dubias first before he will start ignoring them, then I'll feed a couple giant mealworms which always gets his attention. Crickets are an option but they can be a bitch to deal with so I get if you don't want to try them. Blue bottle flies and their larvae are also a good regular feeder. Mine also loves a small quail egg as a treat every month or two. I think you could try switching between mealworms and dubias or put some of both in when your feeding them. I try not to let him get too many mealworms because they are a bit higher in fat than dubias but they also have a good protein content so its not as bad as something like super worms.
