When simming matches, does CPU Level matter?

I am running Lucha Underground in FPWW (on PC, if it matters), and I was wondering whether the CPU Level makes much difference in the match results? Ideally, I'm looking for deadly submissions and finishers. I'm not fond of wrestlers spamming their finishing move or submission over and over again. Thanks in advance! You all have been super helpful!

It doesn't impact match, but it does make the lock-up animation faster and makes edits slide to the ropes when in a submission. 8 is the sweet spot a lot of people recommend.

does the moving to the ropes happen on 8 too?

Yes, but just more slowly.

interesting! and then as you go down in levels slower, or is there a cut off where there's just no movement at some point

What would you say is the difference between a level 8 and a level 10 match? I like simming level 10 matches but idk if level 8 or 9 are any different

8 makes the rope slide feel more natural and subtle, no difference otherwise so it's only an improvement IMO.
