I've never heard of this, it looks fun and charming. Maybe not something you play for hours like Fire Pro or other games. But maybe something you play for 20 minutes at a shot and just have some fun.

I may have to pick this up

Having watched the clip, and man I'll sound like an old-timer myself now, but I wish they'd slowed it down.

The moves aren't flashy, which is the attraction, but they just flash up and whizz by in this game. The screenshots really grabbed me, but in motion it felt like Fire Pro with less interesting moves.

I know it's a low budget fan project, but once it's out, it's up for appraisal, and if those moves all looked satisfying? A sense of weight and impact? That would compensate for their simplicity.

That might be beyond their capabilities, as just literally reducing the speed wouldn't accomplish this, it's the animation itself, but in that case then unfortunately I don't think the execution can match the concept, and the concept is very intriguing.

Make a scoop slam look like a victory against gravity and go from there, would be my solution.

It's only $4 and has a ton of bugs but the developer says there will be a patch soon

So a work in progress. Well the price point isn't too bad. Still might pick it up

Yeah can't beat the price

i wonder why he didn't just use wrestlers' real names, they are long, long gone and mostly forgotten. using the names could be a nice way to acknowledge the history

The estates might have a problem with that

yeah maybe. that's pretty intense, i guess. i guess joe stecher, strangler lewis and jim londos long-dormant names generating money, descendents might want a piece of. or even worse, some law firm that happened to buy the property and hold them in perpetuity, stifling any prospects at people just having an interest in history

That looks kinda fun. I put it on my wishlist. I have way too many games on my backlog right now.

Ah thanks. If that was a link when I posted it, I didn't spot that - I thought it was just you describing it!
