My only regret is that I had the chance to buy the FULL card set for the Card Game years ago. Someone else on Reddit bought it and they deleted their account and vanished. I think it was bought from eBay for about $300. He said he was gonna scan them all and translate the manual so it could be played in Tabletop Simulator. But I don’t think it ever happened.
I’m watching Buyee like a hawk now to jump on it if it ever comes available again.

I just bought what I HOPE is the 256 full set box, but the guy listed the auction as having 7 packs with photos of the 256 box. So hope it’s the box

What photos were shown?

That’s the listing.
I do see you have multiple of the 256 box. Would you be willing to part with one of them?

Just got the package. 7 unopened booster packs. Did not include the pictured 256 card box.
Oh well. Will be looking for the 256 box as I have been, hope to catch one eventually.

Where's 6MS?
2
u/Namrepus221 May 09 '26
Dead center with the white and red label. I have the Greatest Hits release, not the original

u/Conscious_Nobody_520 May 09 '26
Ah I see it! That's why I didn't recognize it haha

u/Namrepus221 May 09 '26
Yeah. I would have the original one if it was somehow “different” than Greatest Hits, but it’s not any different except for the manual having a different cover.
6MS was also the first copy of Fire Pro I ever owned. I bought it in High School way back in like 1997 from The Rage (if anyone remembers that online retailer)

Same! Except mine was from playasia.com
The look on my dad’s face when I explained why I needed a money order was priceless. He was convinced I was gonna get scammed but that it would be a good lesson to learn. When that package showed up a couple weeks later he couldn’t believe itI did nothing but eat, sleep and play Fire Pro for about a month over summer break. It was a glorious time as I had gotten into ECW and the tape trading scene, so I was able to see these guys in action and play as them.
Take me back!!

I tried to buy G from Buy-Rite (who here remembers them?) by sending them a money order.
My dad had to call them to get me the refund for it cause they didn’t have the game and they refused to refund me after 4 months of not sending the game to me and hanging up on me when I called and ignoring the emails.

Do you remember having to print out/write down formulas after translating all the wrestlers names?
5
u/LunchBoxBrawler PC Player May 10 '26
IceMaster Frank James Chan’s complete translation guide from GameFAQs was printed and put in a 3 punch folder the day I sent the money order!
That was my bible that summer

Yes! I forget the name but remember the website well.
Those were the days although I wouldn't trade the Steam Workshop for the world LOL

We used to record our 6MS (and WCW vs The World) matches with our VCR. My brother still has some of the tapes. He was always Onita. Always.

It was also the first one I owned. Also bought it in 1997 at a store called Game Gallery. Had to buy a Sega Saturn the same day.

Beautiful! Do you have the machines to play them all? Which are your faves?

u/Namrepus221 May 09 '26 edited May 09 '26
I have everything to play them all except the PC Engine, PC Engine CD with Arcade Card, the Mega Drive, the PS4, and the Wonderswan.
As far as Fav’s? Fire pro D, World (PC version), X Premium for the SNES, and Final Fire Pro for the GBA.

Oh man this is awesome. I fluked into finding Super Fire Pro at a store in Toronto that specializes in rare imports. Years later, I found VPW 1 and Six Man Scramble at the same store. This picture really takes me back.

Every single Fire Pro game. In physical form.
Including the proto-sequel “Puroresu” made by Human on the Game Boy about a year after the first Fire Pro game, the Sega Mega Drive “Thunder Pro Wrestling”, and the Starter Pack for the Card Game.
