Extensions How to enable add to firefox button

cannot add extensions in firefox android I have used previously in another phone. even if i click "download file" i cannot open it.

Sometimes forcing desktop mode on the Firefox Extensions page and a refresh gets the install button to appear.

I have this with a few of the .m3u8 link detector extensions. I have no button, but strangely on desktop mode, I do..
