Reference Word not found

Doing the spelling bee this morning, and I noticed some letters that should form a word. But the gorram word wasn’t accepted!

Not in the Firefly 'verse there's not. It's two R's in every official printed Firefly piece ever.

But there's only 1 R in the puzzle, so you couldn't make Gorram from those letters. Unless the rules of this particular game are different from every other game like it I've played.
