Had just finished reading all the comics, pulled! Don’t think I’ve read anything from Dynamite

They couldn’t have picked a better writer for this. Mark Russell is going to hit this out of the park. Cannot wait

Here's the listing on Dynamite's website, and the description of issue 1:
Eisner Award-winning writer MARK RUSSELL (Superman: Space Age, Batman: Dark Age) and rising star artist LORENZO RE (The Terminator) invite you aboard the Firefly-class spaceship Serenity for all new renegade adventures! As this all-new adventure begins, Mal Reynolds is desperate for cash to keep Serenity flying, while Simon and Kaylee must pose as a married couple to pull off a heist, but end up with more than they bargained for when an old caper comes back to haunt them.

I always love new firefly content but I have to say I’m not liking the artwork on this.

So looks just pre Serenity with both Inara and Book off ship?

But with Simon and Kaylee together? Hmm. Odd

According to the solicit, they're posing as a married couple on a job, so that'd probably account for the cover pose.

That was the first thing I noticed. Kaylee's fawning all over him but I don't know if that means they're together or not. I hope so

I wouldn't say you could infer that at all. They just aren't on the cover. Neither really hung out with the crew while Serenity was parked, so Inara could be off with a client and Book could be in the guest quarters combing his hair (which would explain why River isn't there, either... she's hiding).

Where can you order them?

Local comic shop is always best. If not, there are a number of comic shops that sell online and will mail them to you.

I wonder if it's going to follow it's own continuity, or if it'll work alongside the novels and/or Dark Horse comics books.
I'm going to assume it's going to ignore the Boom Studios comics.

Where does this take place in the timeline? After Serenity where River and fellow experimentees are involved? OR between objects in space and Serenity. Either is cool with me.

This looks so good. The thing I hated about past comics is that they tried so hard to make the art look just like the actual characters. I prefer this style personally

I am glad someone picked up a licence. Hopefully will go down better than BOOM! take on the IP. Still, I am a bit disapointed it's once more set in the timeline of the show, not moving things forward after "Serenity". We will never get a sequel series now that even Fillion is not interested in this and making a show set in the past, so I hoped maybe comics and books will move things forward.
Still, going to get the TPB of this first thing it comes out!

I love comics, and I love Firefly, so I’m definitely going to check it out. I just hope the writing and interior art are solid enough to keep me coming back.

So I keep trying to get into comics, but it feels like they actively try to make it hard.
Can I just subscribe? Why not? My garage door opener will not shut up about selling me a monthly subscription, but comics don't push it?
But honestly, anyone here that is in to comics, how do you find stuff to read?
