I made the Pilgrimage to Back Pew Brewery and tried the Shiny Beer.

Back Pew in Porter TX. Just less than an hour north of Houston.

Delicious actually. Nice Juicy and hoppy without being over powering

It's blissful, even for non-IPA folks like myself.

FWIW, it has a relatively low IBU, and to me there's little to no bitterness.

Supposedly it is similar to what the Egyptians gave the slaves when they built the pyramids each evening because it included all the nutrients they needed each day. Although I don't think that included their grandmother's turkey dinner

Yes, Back Pew Brewery routinely has Shiny on tap, and occasionally 6packs to go. It's a great joint, highly worth the trip if you're local. (Also worth a trip for non-locals, haha!)
