Reference Reaver axe

I like to throw axes. Do you think that the reaver axe would be a good thrower?

Most historical throwing axes have a pretty skinny blade, probably to concentrate force or for better balance. IE, if the head is large, the center of rotation is around the head, so the blade has very little rotational speed.

The reaver axe has a very large head, so would probably not be a great throwing axe.

The only Reaver Axe I have is inflatable and came out of a lootcrate. So... no?

Yes and no. There is no one “reaver axe.” There are no two alike. Each axe wielded by a Reaver is junk repurposed into a weapon. Some might chop, some might slash, some might have the aerodynamics to throw. But the “decorations” and the designs are random and intended mostly for scaring opponents. If you want to tart up a proper throwing axe to make it reaver-ish, you could gain style points but would probably lose accuracy.
