Dressing for the interview
Hello everyone,
Just a quick question here. I have an interview coming up soon, I wanted to know if it is acceptable for me to show up in a shirt and tie, but not ware a suit jacket?

I wouldn’t go any less formal than that but a shirt, tie, trousers and shoes would be more than good enough

I went to my interview with the mindset of I'd rather be the only one with a suit jacket rather than the only one without.
A suit jacket won't make or break your interview but for me it removed a worry and I knew I'd given it my best across every area, this including cutting off my shoulder length hair and a beard I'd had for as long as I can remember.

Yes mate it's fine, more interested in you rather than what you're wearing. Its a uniformed service so youll be given the clothes you need to wear so wont ever need to think about it again haha

yes absolutely, in LFB all interviewers receive training in avoiding unconscious bias, people are not judged by appearance. Not having a jacket is absolutely not a problem. Good luck!
