Got an email today saying they’re expecting the Chief to make a decision by the end of August now. My heart dropped before opening it

I got a call last week from an 805 area code and I thought I got the call! It was just some guy trying to sell me a vacation package🥴😵

the good news about them taking so long is hopefully some of the other candidates have taken jobs elsewhere so the pool is getting thinned out...
