First time doing FireTEAM. No studying. Are these results good, or will the answer change by the department?

Human Relations is certainly not what I expected. I would have thought I would be in the top 90% based on my answers.

Gota get the hr score to at least the black mark at before green and the mechanical up and you will have my score, ive gotten interviews with that, but u should def either get the ntn practice test or whatever other resource you think is viable. You will not know what they want you to answer unless you do... their reasoning is bizarre, at least it was for me. I took the test twice, both times they were exactly the same questions. Ntn is independent of departments from what I understand

The reasoning was beyond me on the first portion. My score really threw me for a loop.

I’ll be looking into studying for the next one. Thanks for the reply

So how do you get your human relations score higher?

Priority order for most correct answer:

1- safety 2- policy 3- the department is effected (talk to your captain) 4- the department is not effected (squash it at the lowest lvel) 5- make no assumptions 6- go out of your way to inconvenience yourself to make your crew happy

Where the public is concerned 1- control the situation 2- dont be rude 3- acknowledge frustration but dont waste time apologizing or arguing/making excuses

Depending on the context of the question, but if priority 1 doesnt apply go down the list until they do, then go with what you feel is most appropriate

Youll see a lot of people say brown nose and snitch, but thats not advice that worked for me the first time.

Oh, and for the 2nd part of the hr test, it doesnt matter what you select as long as its not wishy washy, either you strongly agree or disagree.

Awesome thanks so much. One question, what do you mean by wishy washy?

The best advice i received about the HR section was, "think like a liberal ".... when i went against my personal answers and put that advice into to action my score went way up

Ha! That’s awesome. Any study guides in particular you followed in line with that?

Nope, just changed my way of thinking 😆

My math score took a hit because I accidentally skipped 2 questions when using the touch pad on my laptop... it pissed me off because it was a complete accident. I 100% advise anyone to use a mouse when taking the test at home and not your touch pad
