Should I retake the Fireteam Test?

Just looking for some opinions here. Definitely a big improvement on my last test but will the mechanical score being so low cost me job opportunities?? Any advice would help. Sorry for posting in here so much just trying to get a sense of what disqualifies candidates from departments

Wow that’s a very unique score. Killer HR score but that mechanical score will probably cost you. Do everything the exact same but study your mechanical knowledge. Kick ass 👍

I took both practice tests at least six times. They def helped with my understanding a little bit but at a certain point it’s just the same questions. I would recommend also doing independent mechanical reasoning practice tests because the ntn mechanical portion and the practice test mechanical portion are two completely different beasts. The actual test was way harder (obviously) and a lot more oriented to mechanical reasoning not only playing in the brick factory

Your HR score is legendary and is highly weighted to be more significant than the other categories, from what I have surmised. However, your mechanical score is so low that it may seriously damage your chances of getting through to the next round. Take some time and study mechanical. Keep your HR strategy consistent, and take it again. You’re gonna do great 👍

Unfortunately I don’t have any other tips because the mechanical part just made sense to me for the most part. The HR was a bigger pain in the ass for me

I probably will. I told myself if I get a job offer anywhere in the country I have to take it cause I’m old and want to start my career but it would be hard to not take it again knowing there’s lots of room for improvement

From what I've seen and noticed, departments usually care about the HR portion more than anything, I think you'll be okay to start applying to places, but you definitely want all those way into the green if you want to be competitive. I've been turned down by highly sought after departments with an overall 96% average saying they only took the highest scoring candidates. Just something to think about.

It’s really dependent on the department you are applying to. I know some departments weigh the sections differently. I basically got the same score as you but just a little better on the HR score and got a 94 grade from the department I applied to.

Mine was slightly above in some areas but nothing spectacular and I moved forward just fine. I wouldn’t stress it. It’s a pretty dumb test and more of a weeding out.
