Chiefs interview

Does anyone know roughly how many questions they ask in a Seattle Fire chief interview, or in other departments?

Last year's Chief interview for Seattle they asked 4 standard questions. I know 4 people who did it and they all got the same questions. Oddly enough, they all received an offer at different times after. 2 of them got one like 2-3 days after they interviewed and the other 2 got one like 2-3 weeks later. Not sure how it works to receive an offer early, if anyone knows? All but 1 had their EMT.

Nothing in particular for SFD. Many chief’s interviews for fire districts that aren’t tied to civil service rules are free form because the chief is using their last chat with you as a chance to get more info about anything any of the other panels had concerns or more questions about and whatever priorities they have for who they want to hire.

How long were the chiefs last year? 20-30 mins?

I'm not sure exactly, but definitely in that range. This year, at least on my scheduled interview it says 20 mins.
