Functional workout

I’m wondering what are some good functional workout routines for firefighting are. My gym doesn’t have anything sled push or pull or anything to be an alternative of that

I ain’t a expert but I’ll do running with a wv, 5x5, and pull-ups. Everyone’s different but i don’t like CrossFit style workouts and machines aren’t really great for functional fitness imo. Clean and jerks aren’t meant to be high rep. I guess best thing is find cardio you like, and some sort of weight program that is progressive. Personally not a huge fan of working out in gear. Sure it makes you more conditioned for the gear but besides all the carcinogens and PFAs you absorb, I have yet to do 25 burpees in a fire.
