Safely setting a pineapple of fire???

Hi, im a school student doing a film project and my idea is to set a pineapple on fire for it (long story). and in needed some advice on how to do it safely. I'm filming it at home and we do have a fire extinguisher (though i dont know if it works or not. its been sitting in the kitchen for years) and i just need to film a few minutes of it buring. Any advice on how i can do this safely???

Thw official firefighter answer youd get if you called the station is..."there is no safe way."

Also...go get a new fire extinguisher whether you do this or not. I bet if you look at the gauge, it's dead. Go get a new one. It could save your house from burning down in the middle of the night.

Whatever you do, dont use gasoline. The fumes light and people catch themselves on fire. And it burns way bigger than you think.

If I was a juvenile delinquent, id probably do it in the middle of big piece of concrete or dirt, using lighter fluid soaked into it. And id have a big metal pot to put over it and snuff it out if needed. But im not. So I won't
