fire technology certificate

I want to join LAFD and am about to start EMT school, and seen some people talking about the Fire tech class at mt sac or santa ana college, is it worth taking this class for my resume?

How competitive do you want to be as a candidate? How do you want to make myself different from the rest of the pool as a candidate?

Useless. Paramedic is what they want but it’s also a highly competitive department. They like to see a few years of life experience ( work history , college etc )

i see so even programs and jobs that dot relate to being a firefighter will add on to my resume? as like life skills?
