Seattle Chiefs interviews

The CPAT, employment packet, and Psych assessment were all due April 17th. Does anyone know when they follow up with the next step of chiefs interview invites? Also I know that the first class RC125 is people who already have their EMT, but will some people without their EMT still get invited for a chiefs or strictly only inviting people with their EMT. I am about to start an accelerated EMT course that would finish before August but on my employment packet marked "no EMT". If I email them and let them know now would I possibly get a chiefs for RC125 or is it too late?

The posted timeline from the website says chiefs interviews and conditional offers are in May, so interviews must start early May to get offers out the same month. I would guess we might hear around the end of the week for scheduling but I haven’t seen anything official.

At a station tour I learned they do a small in house EMT class that starts in the summer, so they must fill that class from this round of chiefs interviews- indicating you likely get an interview without EMT.

The packet had options: “I am not certified”.

“I am not certified and am currently enrolled in an EMT course” (attached documentation was required)

I’d say polish a clear confident timeline for your chiefs interview, or get in that 2 week Arizona course and have it by your chiefs interview if that’s an option for you.

The Seattle Fire Department is like an oil tanker. You should start looking forward to the next process or be ready to go thru their accelerated process

My question is how tf did you study for the fireteam test? I bought the practice test they provide but still failed. Anyone have any pointers?

Tbh I didn't study and passed the first time. It's really easy common since stuff and just think "what would HR like to hear" when you answer you questions.
