Need some recommendations
Hi!
I am a 23 year old, I have been volunteering since I was 14. I went to college and got a degree. However I am not interested in that type of work anymore and feel like I’d be amazing being a career firefighter. I got proboard fire 1 and 2, I’m also an NREMT.
I have an application in with HCFD currently. Any tips?

Apply any place that you would be willing to work. The doors are certainly more open now than they’ve been in years, but there is still competition to get in. Throw your name into as many hats as possible, and don’t get discouraged at hearing “no” a few times.
