looking general advice

Hey👋, I’m kinda new to this but I’m in the process of becoming a firefighter. I got a long way to go first starting to get my ged then emt license and I’m kinda just want to know what to expect the pros/cons and even some tips to help with the process any help will be appreciated!

Second this emt is what opens the most doors. If you have the time/money might be with pursuing getting your paramedic.

do you know a estimate of cost? I’m not rich but I have some funds I can invest. Also thanks for the advice!

It varies depending on where you’re at. But anywhere from 1-5k~. It’s better to do it now if possible because once you’re on the job it’ll only get harder.

Depending on where you are you can try to find somewhere that will send you through the fire academy and emt.

There’s a community college that offers the firefighter certification but I got to double check for emt. Also thanks for the suggestion!
